DANGEROUS COLLECTIVE
In 2008 we bought an old building (more pics) in downtown Salida, Colorado's largest historic district. This turn o' the century building makes us feel Victorian. I’m dressing more Victorian. Laura's new name is Victoria. We get Victoria's Secret catalogs —for free. We rent desk space and house all of our associates; designers, programmers and videographers. It’s a great work studio for our Alzheimer’s Books, as well as our other book projects. Additionally, this is the home for our community journalism project; The Salida Citizen.
We worked on the space to take it from dirt floor to high-tech communal studio space. Thanks to our good buddy Sam, we run the OUTSIDE TELEVISION station and all multi-media ops from here too. We brought in fiber optic cable to communicate something special. It is called Dangerous Collective in part because we are The Dangerous Donavans Traveling Circus, and this is our latest little adventure. If you want to see some creative work, check this out. Thanks to all of our humble, hardworking friends and professional associates for coming on board to help make Salida a better place while helping Laura and I to make this space a reality.
The Citizen is just the beginning. The stereo system sounds great and we have a new downtown deck as well. The PV panels are going up top soon, then the meter will be running backwards while the new in-floor heat warms our toes. Do you have something to add to the dialog?
Call me (Bill) at 719.539.0177 to discuss rental space or use of the multi-media conference room.
